Message of a Managing Director

We thank God Almighty that as a member of Islamic Revolution’s Mostazafan Foundation Group for the opportunity to play an effective role in the economic growth and the development of the Foundation and in doing so, with the cooperation and efforts of other economic sections of the Foundation achieve the objectives and plans of the Foundation. The present report indicates the activities of the Bonyad Trade and Transport Organization in year 1383 (21 March 2007-20 March 2005).

It is my honour that by reaching a sales amount of Rls 1,829 billion (35% growth in comparison to the previous year), Rls 400 billion in investment (50% growth in comparison to the previous year) and Rls 354 billion before taxation profit (85% in comparison to the previous year) make a small contribution to achievement of glorious goals of the Foundation. By performing various activities such as transportation, commercial services, insurance, investment, communication and electronics and utilization of the hidden synergic power in combination of activities as well as participating in economic arenas such as second mobile operator, purchase of several general cargo ships, increasing the rail road transport capacity, entering long-term contracts for operation of several ports, establishing Sina Insurance Co. and Pishrow Iran Investment Co. and Persian Golf Oil Storage Co. God willing, the Trade and Transport Organization of the Foundation will play an effective role in the economic prosperity of the Foundation and country for the coming years.

In conclusion, I would like to thank God Almighty and to express my gratitude toward Mr. Forouzandeh, the honoured President and chairman of the Foundation who provided the Organization to achieve major successes by his wisdom, supports and policies in line with capabilities of the Organization.
